I studied Art & Design in Glasgow after completing my secondary education then, following a break from the arts, returned to study Fine Art at Edinburgh College of Art in 1991.  I now work as a professional artist from my home in Fife.

 

I paint in an impressionistic style using acrylics (sometimes combined with mixed media) and get my inspiration from Scotland’s stunning scenery and surrounding coastlines where I try to capture the colour, light and textures in my work.  I also have a keen interest in figurative work.

I have work in private collections throughout the UK, Europe, USA, New Zealand and Dubai. NHS Fife purchased 9 paintings for permanent display at the local hospital in 2006.
